CHICAGO, IL
The Beginning
1986
Quynh Trinh, known by her overwhelmingly loyal patrons as simply Q, helped her aunt Mykha open her first restaurant in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. She was sixteen years old working in a bodega and then helped open her second restaurant, Eurasia, when she was eighteen. “I get bored when I’m not challenged by something. Whether it’s managing a clothing store, assisting direct on commercials & films, or launching Tiger Beer in the USA: if I get bored, I leave, so I’ve done a lot through my life.”

The First Venture
2012
A single mom armed with just two George Foreman grills, a basic coffeemaker, and $99 in the bank is all it took for Q to open We Suki Suki in East Atlanta Village in 2012. It became an instant success with Q later expanding into the building next door to house and launch the Global Grub Collective which features a community style eating area with an indoor street vendor feel.
